Do Your Best to Stay out of Court

I’ve been to family court more times than I care to remember, and I can assure you it’s the most negative place on earth. These courtrooms are breeding places for hostility and controversy and the attorney's make a ton of money on fueling the fire! If you are having issues communicating with your ex, perhaps enroll the help of parents or a trusted source to simply mediate and help you both overcome the hostility so you can move towards an amicable resolution. A long, drawn out litigation will certainly have long-lasting negative effects on your children and your credit. Both parties must be willing to stay out of court, so if your ex isn’t cooperating, find someone close to him/her that can point out all the negatives of litigation. Mediation is always the better solution!
